4/15/2003-If I could poop down the back of your shirt, I would

Considering the wackiness that precludes this particular entry on Craptacular, this may seem to be sort of a downer.

Barnyard asked me to write something as a bit of an introduction of myself to all you who might be reading this website. First off I’d like to say howdy, I go by HighPulp round these parts.

Second, I’d like to say that I like to do amusing things. Things that amuse me and things that amuse the people around me are what I aim for, but due to the current mode of thinking I’m in can’t allow for that just yet. I’d like to tell you that I have a bit of bi-polar sense of humor. Some days I find most everything to be entertaining while on others it may take quite a bit of some real hardcore funny to awaken the hibernating humor beast that resides deep with the core of me. Right now that humor beast is sticking its nose out of its hole to see how cold it is outside and he does not like what’s going on.

My head is a battle ground with my politics, my faith, women, my hate, my frustration, my envies, my desires, my hopes, my friends, my enemies, love, and my dreams lined up against each other in trenches and they’ve all decided to rush the no man’s land for some righteous hand to hand combat and small arms fire all the while being shelled.

It hurts some times.

The only problem is that all of these things are connected in so many different ways that I can’t deal with one just by it’s self. It’s nigh impossible for me to deal with just one issue so I just have to suck it up and then move on.

My first rant/bitching session : Propaganda and how

It upsets me sometimes when I try to figure out what the hell is wrong with the world. I see so much bull shit being blasted out of the mouthpieces from every part of the political spectrum. What’s been bothering me lately has been this idea that some news sources are more biased than others i.e. Fox News.

Of course I hear this from Democrats. The same Democrats who watch CNN and think they’re getting more of the truth than those watching Fox News. I’m sorry but what it really comes down to is that we’ll never get unbiased news from any source and we only want to hear what we want to hear. CNN tells the left what they want to hear and the Fox News tells the right what they want to hear. The same goes for newspapers.

Around here in Seattle we have newspaper called The Stranger (might be in other cities, but I don’t know), which is the most biased leftist piece of trash I’ve ever read. People believe what The Stranger has to say because reaffirms there far left viewpoint. It’s news is decidedly more biased than Fox News or CNN but people will still believe anything that’s printed or on a screen that they agree with (whether or not it’s actually true).

“Ah but I know the American news media is biased all the way around, that’s why I read and watch foreign news!”

Sorry there tough guy if you think there is going to be any less spin coming out of Hong Kong or India you got another thing coming. All news is biased. Period. Every news outlet is a tool of manipulation. When someone says their source of information has more truth to it then another source I hear “My source of propaganda is better than your source of Propaganda.” Until our news is collected and reported by robots we will never have truly unfiltered, unbiased news.

I’ve no more to say about this at the moment, maybe I’ll clarify some later.
